Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular songwriter and singer at the beginning of 2001 when she began to write tales of heartache. Swift had a passion for music since a young stage of her life. Swift swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and eventually performing before crowds of people. As Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of the Philadelphia 76ers at a game at the age of 11. She was already composing songs. Following that year she picked up the guitar. Swift created original music which was influenced by country stars such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflects her experience of being in the tween years. Swift moved from Pennsylvania together with her parents, and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote more time to wooing artists from the genre of country music in Nashville.
